How did you come to Reiki?

I first discovered Reiki after heartbreak and was amazed at how quickly it worked its magic. While I was open to trying anything that would make me feel better, I was skeptical that anything would actually work!

At first, I was glad to find something that made me sleep soundly but over time, I noticed the subtle ripple effect in all aspects of my life. The anxiety that had hummed continuously in the background began to dissipate, and I felt a sense of calm and connectivity I’d never experienced before.

What happens in a Reiki session?

We will start having a quick chat around what brings you to the session and what is going on for you. You will lie down fully clothed and we will start with a guided meditation to quieten the mind and body. I will use my hands to scan your aura to feel for any blockages and then place my hands on or near the body (head/ face, shoulders, tummy, legs, feet) to channel healing Reiki energy into you. You may experience this as a warm or cool sensation, as well as tingling or lightness. I will use crystals, sound and scent to supercharge the healing Reiki energies. After the session there will be the opportunity to connect with me and share anything that may have come up for you.

How often should I have Reiki?

There is no right or wrong but in general once a week should do the trick. At a minimum once a month.
